Workshop Description

The Non- violence Crisis Intervention training program espouses a philosophy of providing the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety and Security to staff and those in their care during a crisis situation. The program focuses on prevention and verbal de-escalation techniques and offers proven strategies for safely managing anxious, disruptive and violent behavior.
This course equips you how to recognize the signs of escalating dangerous behavior, how to respond suitably during scenes of turmoil, and how to shield yourself as well as other people from the danger of injury. Any worker who deals with the public can benefit from this course.
 

About Workshop

Non-Violent Crisis intervention workshop is a single day workshop but will enable you to safeguard yourself and your loved ones in the event of turmoil or danger of injury. It is designed to help human service workers provide for the best possible care and welfare for assaultive, disruptive, or out-of-control persons even during the most violent moment. The training focuses on prevention, de-escalation, personal safety and physical intervention. Following are the objectives of this workshop: -

• Identifying the indicators for violent or disruptive behaviors
